Could you share a brief introduction to your background and what shaped your approach to education?
I’m from Virginia, US and grew up in the US and Canada. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia double majoring in Neuroscience and Computer Science with a minor in Chemistry, and went on to pursue a graduate degree at Yale University in Bioengineering. During my own application journey, I was fortunate to be admitted to the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, UC Berkeley, University of Toronto, and University of Cambridge. My upbringing and education in North America have given me a deep understanding of both local and international academic environments, allowing me to guide students and families through the often complex admissions landscape.
Within your career as an educator, what do you consider your most meaningful accomplishment?
One of my proudest achievements is helping students grow academically, professionally, and personally. I have advised and mentored students to gain admission to highly selective universities and scholarship programs and served as teaching fellows for several undergraduate and graduate level classes at Yale. I enjoy mentoring and coaching students, and helping them receive personalized attention.
